The event, which took place at the school's assembly hall, brought together 120 students from Senior High School levels 1 and 2. Participants were divided into two age groups — 13 to 18 years and 18 years and above — with 24 males and 96 females in attendance.

The project aimed to equip students with knowledge of their civic rights and responsibilities, legal protections, and reporting channels, enabling them to adopt a rights-based approach to demand transparency and accountability from duty-bearers for accelerated and sustainable national development.

Mr. Asempah, Civic Education Officer and key facilitator, led presentations on the definition and forms of corruption, the rule of law, legal protections, and reporting mechanisms. He also outlined strategies for combating corruption and assured participants of their protection under the Whistleblower's Act 2006 (Act 720).

Mr. Elijah Mawutor, the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan Coordinator, educated students on how to report unfair treatment when seeking public services. He also identified institutions mandated to investigate corruption-related activities, including the Ghana Police Service, the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), and the Ghana Audit Service.

During the engagement, students shared numerous firsthand encounters with corruption while seeking services from public sector workers. All issues raised were thoroughly discussed, with clear guidance provided on where to report such cases for redress.

At the conclusion of the programme, participants resolved to use the rights and tools available to contribute their quota to the fight against corruption.
