Fanteakwa South DCE Commissions Fully Renovated Classroom Block at Abompe Salvation Army School

The facility, which was previously an incomplete and poorly maintained structure, has now been transformed into a modern and conducive learning environment through the completion of all outstanding works and major renovations.
The project included quality finishing works, installation of ceiling fans, and improvements aimed at creating a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable atmosphere for effective teaching and learning.
Speaking during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Hon. Mercy Korang emphasized the importance of quality educational infrastructure in shaping the future of children.
She noted that a well-equipped school environment enhances concentration, boosts confidence, promotes dignity, and motivates students to excel academically.
The event brought together several dignitaries and stakeholders, including the Abompe Hene, Barima Kwabena Addo II, the District Education Director, representatives of the Member of Parliament, assembly members, church leaders, and constituency executives.
Hon. Korang expressed gratitude to all individuals and groups who contributed to the successful completion of the project and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to improving education infrastructure across the district.
Community members and parents welcomed the intervention, describing it as a major milestone that will positively impact education delivery and the welfare of schoolchildren in Abompe.
