The six-unit classroom block, being funded through the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), has reached the roofing stage, signaling significant progress towards its completion and eventual use by students and teachers in the community.

The project is expected to enhance access to quality education, reduce pressure on existing classroom facilities and provide a more conducive environment for teaching and learning.

In addition to the classroom block, construction of a six-unit teachers' quarters in Galiwei is also advancing steadily. The facility is expected to address accommodation challenges faced by teachers and improve staff retention in the community.

The projects form part of ongoing efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure and improve learning outcomes within the Gushegu Constituency.

Residents have expressed optimism that the completion of the facilities will contribute significantly to educational development and help attract more qualified teachers to the area.

The progress of the projects has been attributed to the collaborative efforts of the Municipal Chief Executive for Gushegu, Hon. Abdul-Hafiz Adam, and officials of the GETFund Secretariat, including Hon. Alhassan Sualihu Dandawa.

Stakeholders have praised the government's continued investment in education infrastructure, describing the projects as critical interventions that will support human capital development and improve educational opportunities for children in Galiwei and surrounding communities.

Upon completion, the facilities are expected to boost teaching and learning, enhance teacher welfare and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the Gushegu Municipality.
