The monitoring exercise took the delegation across four communities, each hosting critical projects at various stages of completion.

The team's first stop was South Senchi, where they assessed progress on a state-of-the-art 6-unit classroom block. The impressive facility, when completed, will boast seven WC toilet units, a staff common room with a dedicated washroom, a head teacher's office with private toilet facilities, a computer laboratory, and a store. The project is expected to significantly elevate academic standards, improve sanitation, and enhance comfort for both students and teachers in the community.

The delegation subsequently visited Old Akrade to inspect the ongoing construction of a Community CHPS Compound with nurses' quarters. The facility is designed to bring primary healthcare services closer to residents, eliminating the burden of travelling long distances for medical attention, while also strengthening maternal and child healthcare delivery in the area.

At Fintey, the Assembly was pleased to review a completed Community CHPS Compound with accommodation facilities. The project marks a major milestone in healthcare delivery for the community, ensuring that health professionals are permanently stationed and readily available to serve the needs of residents around the clock.

The final stop on the inspection tour was Anum, where construction of a mechanized borehole is currently underway. Once operational, the facility will guarantee a reliable and safe drinking water supply for residents, contributing significantly to improved sanitation, better health outcomes, and enhanced overall well-being in the community.

Speaking on the exercise, the Assembly emphasized that such monitoring visits form an integral part of its governance approach — ensuring that all projects are executed in strict accordance with approved specifications and timelines, while remaining responsive to the genuine developmental needs of the Asuogyaman District.

With a pipeline of projects spanning education, healthcare, and water and sanitation, the Asuogyaman District Assembly continues to position itself as a model of proactive, people-centred local governance under the stewardship of Hon. Godwin Bobobee.
