The tour, which also included the Director of Finance, Benjamin Kpodo, and other senior management officials, formed part of a broader effort to ensure accountability, quality delivery, and effective utilization of DRIP resources at the district level.

As part of the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call on the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, reaffirming the programme's commitment to working in close collaboration with regional and district-level authorities to achieve its mandate. District Chief Executives (DCEs) and District Coordinators were also engaged during the visit, providing an opportunity for frank discussions on the progress and challenges facing DRIP implementation in the region.

The team proceeded to carry out on-site inspections, monitoring, and assessments of DRIP equipment and works in three key districts — Afadzato South DistrictHohoe, and Kpando — evaluating the quality and pace of road improvement projects being executed by the respective District Assemblies.

The Volta Regional tour underscores DRIP's continued dedication to transparent oversight and hands-on engagement with districts to ensure that road infrastructure investments translate into meaningful improvements for communities across Ghana.
