The initiative brought together a diverse coalition, including personnel from local security agencies, community assistant security personnel, market associations, and organized community groups. This joint force conducted an intensive clean-up of major markets, public streets, and other identified sanitation-prone areas.

The exercise is a core part of the Assembly’s strategy to tackle persistent sanitation challenges through direct action and strengthened partnerships. The high level of cooperation among all groups was pivotal to the operation's success.

Following the clean-up, Municipal Chief Executive Seth Banini commended the participants and the broader community. “This exercise demonstrates the power of collective action,” he stated. “A clean environment is a shared responsibility, and I urge every resident, trader, and group to join us in sustaining this momentum.”

Mr. Banini reaffirmed his commitment to a comprehensive sanitation plan, which includes regular clean-up exercises, ongoing public education, and the enforcement of sanitation bylaws, all underpinned by robust stakeholder collaboration.

He also offered special thanks to the municipal security agencies for their indispensable support, discipline, and dedication. Their involvement was crucial in ensuring the safety, orderliness, and overall effectiveness of the exercise.

This collaborative effort highlights the Assembly’s resolve to foster a cleaner, healthier municipality through active community engagement and strong institutional partnerships.
