The exercise involved clearing nuisances and mapping signages to assess compliance with permit requirements. Hon. Bright stressed that all signages must be duly permitted and announced the rollout of an advanced digitised system to track and monitor permits and compliance across the city.

He further called on corporate organisations operating within Tema to cooperate fully with the Assembly by adhering to permit regulations and settling outstanding obligations to support effective service delivery and urban management.

Reaffirming the Assembly’s commitment to firm but fair enforcement, the Mayor declared: “Tema’s urban renewal is not just about structures; it is about restoring order, responsibility, and pride in our city.”

The exercise forms part of sustained efforts by the Tema Metropolitan Assembly to restore order, cleanliness, and dignity to the metropolis, positioning Tema as a model city for urban renewal and effective sanitation management.
