Achiase District Assembly Identifies Poor Road Network As Major Development Challenge

The District Chief Executive (DDCE) for Achiase, Samuel Owusu Brako, has identified the poor state of the district’s road network as one of the major challenges affecting development and connectivity.

Speaking at a recent sitting of the Public Accounts Committee, he said the district faced significant road infrastructure challenges, particularly on routes linking it to other parts of the country.

He mentioned the Kenya Junction–Akim Briani–Nyakomansi–Achiase road as one of the major routes connecting the district to the rest of Ghana, stressing the need for improved road infrastructure.

Mr. Brako indicated that addressing the road challenges would improve transportation, facilitate economic activities and enhance access to essential services for residents.
