Ejisu MCE Empowers Persons with Disabilities with Cash and Working Equipment
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu, Hon. Jerryne Asante, has reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to inclusive development by extending financial and material support to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the municipality.

The support package, which included cash assistance and working equipment, was presented to beneficiaries to help improve their livelihoods and enhance their economic independence. The intervention forms part of the Assembly’s broader efforts to ensure that vulnerable groups are not left behind in the municipality’s development agenda.
Presenting the items, Hon. Jerryne Asante emphasized that empowering Persons with Disabilities remains a key priority of the Ejisu Municipal Assembly. She noted that the initiative is aimed at supporting beneficiaries to engage in income-generating activities, reduce dependency, and improve their overall standard of living.
The MCE encouraged beneficiaries to make good use of the support to grow their small businesses and become self-reliant. She further assured that the Assembly would continue to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to roll out programmes that promote social inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
