The project’s consultant, accompanied by the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ahafo Ano South West, Mr. Abubakar Sedik, along with the Assembly’s management and the esteemed Chief of Mankranso, Nana Safre-Adu Sampene Amankwatia has inspected the site for Mankranso Model Market Project

This visit is a direct result of the government’s ambitious 24-hour market initiative, designed to invigorate economic activity and generate employment opportunities nationwide.

During the inspection, the consultant provided a detailed overview of the project, including the structural plans, the proposed facilities, and the anticipated timelines.

The model market promises to be a hub of modern amenities, boasting contemporary stalls, advanced sanitation systems, robust security measures, and even a school and fire service station. It’s designed to be a vibrant space for both daytime and nighttime trading.

Mr. Sedik expressed his enthusiasm for the project’s progress, reinforcing the Assembly’s dedication to ensuring its seamless execution.

He highlighted the transformative potential of the model market, emphasizing its capacity to revitalize commercial activities in Mankranso, strengthen the local economy, and create opportunities for traders, farmers, and the youth of the district.

Mr. Sedik also commended the consultant and the team for their professionalism and assured them of the Assembly’s continued support for initiatives that uplift the district.
