The projects were officially inaugurated during a ceremony attended by the Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, alongside the Municipal Chief Executive for Birim Central, Solomon Brako Kusi.

The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including traditional authorities, religious leaders, heads of institutions, assembly members, and residents—highlighting the collective commitment to development in the municipality.

Key projects commissioned include a 3-unit classroom block at Frempong Manso R/C JHS, a modern Health Centre at Community Six, an operating theatre attached to the maternity ward at Oda Government Hospital, and an L-shaped Kindergarten block at SDA School.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Solomon Brako Kusi underscored the significance of the projects, noting that they directly address critical needs in education and healthcare while strengthening infrastructure within the municipality.

He revealed that within just one year in office, the Assembly has successfully initiated and completed impactful projects that are already improving the lives of residents.

The MCE expressed gratitude to John Dramani Mahama for his leadership and vision, as well as to the Regional Minister for her continued support. He also commended traditional leaders and stakeholders for their invaluable contributions to the successful execution of the projects.

The commissioning of these facilities marks a significant milestone in the municipality’s development journey and reinforces the Assembly’s commitment to delivering quality services and promoting sustainable growth.

Residents have welcomed the projects, describing them as timely interventions that will enhance access to education and healthcare across the municipality.
