WELCOME NOTE
Background
The Nzema East Municipality is one of the existing fourteen (14) MMDAs in the Western Regionof Ghana. The Municipality was created in 1998 as a District Assembly by a legislative instrument(LI 1918 and operated till it gained a Municipal Statusin 2008 when Nzema East District wassplitinto two districts, Nzema East Municipality and Ellembelle Districts in 2007 by Legislative Instrument LI1017.
