Administration

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) is the political head of the Municipality while the Municipal Coordinating Director is the administrative head, who assists the MCE in the governance of the Municipality. The La Dade Kotopon Municipality is divided into ten electoral areas. The Municipal Assembly is made up of 17 Members including the Chief Executive and the Member of Parliament.

The remaining 15 Members comprise 10 elected Members and five Government Appointees. There are also unit committee members who work hand in hand with the people and the Assembly. The Assembly comprises of the five mandatory sub-committees, which include the Social Services sub-committee, Development Planning sub-committee, Justice and Security sub-committee, Finance & Administration sub-committee and Works sub-committee.
