Oforikrom Assembly Confirms Ahmed Anwel Sadat as New MCE

Mr. Ahmed Anwel Sadat has been confirmed the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Oforikrom Municipality in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

The confirmation followed a special meeting held at the Banisvilla, where 22 assembly members and government appointees participated in a Yes/No vote.

Mr. Sadat secured a decisive majority, receiving 15 out of 22 votes cast, and representing 68.2%.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Sadat expressed deep gratitude to the assembly members for their confidence.

He pledged to work diligently to advance the President's "Resetting Agenda", a national program aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions of the country.

He emphasized his commitment to collaborate with the assembly and community stakeholders to achieve significant progress for Oforikrom.

The confirmation marks a significant step for the Oforikrom Municipality, setting the stage for new initiatives and development projects under Mr. Sadat's leadership.
