They received chest freezers, fufu pounding machines, industrial sewing machines, bags of charcoal and Barbering equipment.  

The disbursement was intended to make the PWDs self-sufficient.  

Mr. Paul Otis Dentu, the Municipal Chief Executive, advised the beneficiaries to put the items received to good use to enable them to cater for themselves and their respective families.  

Mrs Sarah Agyina, a beneficiary, thanked the government and the assembly for coming to their aid and helping them to achieve their dreams and aspirations.  

She advised her colleagues to desist from selling the items received but put it to good use to help eliminate poverty among them.
