New Juaben South Assembly Distributes Fertiliser to Farmers to Boost Food Production

Agriculture remains a key component of efforts by the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly (NJSMA) to improve livelihoods, increase agricultural productivity and strengthen food security within the Municipality.

As part of this commitment, the Assembly on Friday, August 28, 2026, distributed fertiliser to farmers from various communities across the Municipality to support their farming activities.

The initiative is aimed at helping farmers improve crop yields, reduce the cost of agricultural production and contribute significantly to food security within the Municipality.

The fertiliser support is expected to provide relief to beneficiary farmers and enable them to improve soil fertility and increase production during the farming season.

The New Juaben South Municipal Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with farmers, agricultural stakeholders and other relevant institutions to provide the necessary support and create an enabling environment for agricultural development.

The Assembly noted that continued investment in the agricultural sector remains essential to improving the livelihoods of residents and promoting sustainable food production within the Municipality.
