The tour was undertaken in the company of members of the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) and other key stakeholders. Facilities visited included the Abeadze Dominase Health Centre, as well as the Kyeakor and Duadze Community based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compounds.

During the visit, the MCE and his team inspected the physical condition of the facilities, availability of medical equipment, and the general working environment of health personnel. The team also interacted extensively with healthcare workers to gain first hand information on operational challenges affecting the delivery of quality healthcare services to residents within the catchment areas.

Health workers used the opportunity to highlight key concerns, including inadequate logistics, staff constraints, and infrastructural challenges. These issues, they noted, continue to impact their ability to deliver efficient and timely healthcare services to the communities they serve.

In response, Mr. Acquah assured the Municipal Health Director and staff of the Assembly’s commitment to addressing the challenges raised. He emphasized that the Assembly, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, would take deliberate steps to improve conditions at the facilities and strengthen healthcare delivery across the municipality.

The MCE further reiterated the Assembly’s dedication to improving access to quality healthcare for all residents, stressing that feedback from frontline health workers remains critical in shaping effective policies and interventions within the health sector.
