Asuogyaman Assembly Begins Construction of Modern 3-Unit KG Block at Asikuma

The Asuogyaman District Assembly has commenced the construction of a modern 3-Unit Kindergarten (KG) Block at Asikuma as part of efforts to strengthen early childhood education in the district.

The project, which began on February 25, 2026, is being executed by RAK Global Ltd and is designed to provide a safe, modern, and child-friendly learning environment for young learners in the community.

When completed, the new KG block will be equipped with modern educational facilities to enhance teaching and learning. The classrooms are being structured to create a welcoming and stimulating environment that promotes creativity, play-based learning, and strong academic foundations for pupils.

To ensure proper sanitation and comfort, the facility will include a 4-seater WC toilet and bath tailored for kindergarten children. A well-designed Head Teacher’s office with a private washroom will also be provided to support effective school administration and convenience.

In recognition of the importance of holistic child development, the project will feature a dedicated children’s playroom to encourage physical activity and social interaction. A sick bay will also be incorporated to provide first aid and temporary care for pupils who may fall ill during school hours.

The initiative reflects the Assembly’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and investing in the future of children in Asikuma. Upon completion, the facility is expected to significantly enhance both teaching delivery and the overall learning experience for pupils and teachers.
