Abuakwa North MCE Commissions Etukrom CHPS Compound, Pledges Equipment and Nurses’ Bungalow

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Abuakwa North, Mr. Charles Darko Yeboah has officially commissioned a newly constructed CHPS compound at Etukrom.

The facility was donated by Universal Holistic Health Care through Dr. Nana Afia Beyeeman Agyemang (I), Nkosuohene of Etukrom, and Barima Etto Adomako III, as part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the community.

Speaking at the ceremony, the MCE  pledged to provide all the necessary medical equipment to ensure the facility operates effectively. He also presented a cash donation of GH¢2,000 to support the project and further promised to fund the construction of a nurses’ bungalow to accommodate health personnel.

He emphasized that the initiative demonstrates the Assembly’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and improving the wellbeing of residents.

Community members expressed appreciation for the intervention, noting that the CHPS compound will enhance access to quality healthcare services, while the proposed nurses’ bungalow will help attract and retain health workers in the area.

The event was attended by the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North  Nana Ampaw Kwame Addo-Frempong, the Municipal Coordinating Director, the District Police Commander, the Presiding Member, and  Assembly Members.
