The project was made possible through a collaborative effort involving the Suhum Municipal Assembly, the Ghana Health Service, the local community, and other key stakeholders. At the commissioning ceremony, appreciation was extended to all partners and individuals who contributed to the successful completion of the facility.
Speaking at the event, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Lydia Ohenewa, underscored the importance of the CHPS compound in enhancing healthcare delivery within the municipality. She noted that the facility would significantly improve health outcomes, particularly for women and children, by ensuring timely access to essential services.
Hon. Ohenewa further encouraged residents of Kwabena Kumi and surrounding communities to make full use of the facility and prioritize regular health check-ups.
The commissioning of the CHPS compound is expected to strengthen primary healthcare delivery in the area and contribute to the overall well-being of residents in the Suhum Municipality.
