Major Road Projects Planned for Donkorkrom to Boost Connectivity and Development

Plans are in motion for the construction of several key town roads in Donkorkrom, aimed at improving infrastructure and strengthening connectivity across the district.

The proposed road projects include the DASHS–Ademmra, Donkorkrom–Kwaekese, Donkorkrom–Asikesu, Donkorkrom–Abotanso, Donkorkrom–Adukrom, and Donkorkrom–Future Leaders routes, among others. Authorities say these developments are expected to significantly enhance transportation, stimulate local economic activity, and improve access to essential services for residents.

In addition, the Ekye–Agordeke road has been earmarked for construction under the government’s Big Push initiative, further underscoring efforts to expand the district’s road network. Stakeholders have been urged to maintain active engagement to ensure the successful execution of all planned projects.

In a related development, officials from Urban Roads Koforidua paid a working visit to Hon. Kate Mawusi Babanawo on Thursday, April 30, 2026. The team inspected the proposed road networks ahead of the commencement of construction, marking a key step toward bringing the projects to fruition.
