The educational resources, provided under the Ministry of Education’s Basic Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (BSTEM) Project, included Base Ten Arrows, linking cubes, geoboards, tape measures, scissors, plastic storage boxes, and other instructional materials aimed at making STEM learning more practical, engaging, and effective.

The beneficiary schools are Ekoso Presbyterian School, Asamankese Anum Primary School, and Asamankese Wesley School.

This intervention underscores Government’s commitment to transforming education through enhanced STEM teaching and learning at the basic school level. By equipping schools with modern instructional resources, pupils are being given greater opportunities to develop critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and other essential skills needed in a rapidly evolving world.

I commend the West Akim Municipal Education Directorate for its dedication to educational excellence and its continued efforts to ensure that these valuable resources are effectively utilized to improve learning outcomes.

Together, we are investing in the future of our children and laying a strong foundation for the next generation of innovators, scientists, engineers, and leaders in West Akim Municipality.
