South Dayi DCE Inspects Affordable Housing Project at Kpeve as Government Pushes Homeownership Agenda

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for South Dayi District, together with a team of officials, has inspected the ongoing Affordable Housing Project at Kpeve, aimed at expanding access to decent and affordable housing for residents.

The project, being implemented by the Ministry of Works and Housing with funding support from the Home Ownership Fund, forms part of government's broader efforts to address Ghana's housing deficit and make homeownership attainable for more citizens.

During the inspection tour, the DCE expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and commended the contractors and project stakeholders for their commitment to delivering the project on schedule.

According to the DCE, the housing initiative is designed to provide affordable and accessible housing opportunities for all residents without discrimination, ensuring that individuals and families from diverse backgrounds can realize their dream of owning a home.

He noted that the project aligns with government's vision of improving living conditions, promoting social inclusion and enhancing the welfare of citizens through strategic infrastructure investments.

The DCE further emphasized that the visible progress on site demonstrates government's determination to translate development promises into tangible benefits for communities across the country.

When completed, the affordable housing project is expected to provide quality housing units, improve living standards and contribute to the socio-economic transformation of the South Dayi District in the Volta Region.
