On April 10, 2026, a joint technical team comprising officials from the Ghana Highways Authority and regional authorities conducted an on-site field assessment of the road. The exercise was aimed at collecting critical data to guide the upcoming construction works.

The planned interventions, which include road rehabilitation and the installation of solar street lights, form part of a broader strategy to improve accessibility within the Afram Plains enclave. Authorities say the project will ease the transportation of goods and services while contributing to improved living standards.

Officials emphasize that the developments are designed to deliver durable and cost-effective infrastructure, addressing longstanding challenges related to road conditions and nighttime visibility in the constituency.
