Gushegu MCE Inspires BECE Candidates, Promises Hot Meals to Boost Exam Performance

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Gushegu, Hon. Abdul-Hafiz Adam, has visited Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates at the Gushegu Senior High School examination centre to encourage them as they sit for their final papers.

The visit, which took place today, saw the MCE and his entourage interacting with the candidates, offering words of motivation and urging them to remain focused and confident throughout the examination period.

Hon. Adam advised the students to desist from all forms of examination malpractice, stressing that discipline and integrity are key to securing a brighter future.

In a major morale-boosting gesture, the MCE announced that all 1,300 BECE candidates in the municipality will be provided with hot meals and water starting tomorrow to support their wellbeing during the examination period. He also extended the same support to invigilators overseeing the exams.

He explained that the intervention is aimed at motivating candidates to give off their best performance and reduce stress during the examination period.

The candidates warmly welcomed the gesture, expressing gratitude for the support and encouragement from the Assembly.

Hon. Adam wished all candidates success, both within the municipality and across the country, urging them to aim for excellent results that will open doors to future opportunities.
