The newly completed and furnished facility comprises two classrooms, an office, a washroom and a kitchen, and is expected to improve teaching and learning at the pre-school level.
The facility is also expected to provide a more conducive learning environment for pupils who previously studied in overcrowded classrooms and other less suitable conditions.
Speaking during the commissioning and handover ceremony, Rev. Ntim Fordjour said the project would help strengthen early childhood education, improve teacher effectiveness and enhance the academic performance of pupils.
He said providing children with a safe and conducive environment was essential to laying a strong foundation for their future education and development.
The MP called on parents to complement the efforts of the government and teachers by supporting their children with food, learning materials and other basic necessities required for effective learning.
He also urged school authorities and the community to take proper care of the facility and ensure regular maintenance to prolong its lifespan.
Mr Isaac Opoku Inkoom, the District Director of Education, advised the school authorities to establish proper maintenance practices to ensure that the facility remained in good condition and continued to serve its intended purpose for many years.
Nana Anokye Kotoko II, Chief of Assin Kyinso, expressed gratitude to Rev. Ntim Fordjour for providing the community with the facility.
He pledged the commitment of the traditional authority to support efforts to ensure that more children in the community were enrolled in school.
Nana Anokye Kotoko II said educating more children would help produce knowledgeable and responsible citizens capable of contributing to the development of the community and the nation.
