Agotime-Ziope District Assembly Partners World Vision to Boost WASH Services

The Agotime-Ziope District Assembly has reaffirmed its commitment to improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the Universal Service Coverage for Water, Sanitation and Health (WASH) Initiative.

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Alfred Eklu Odikro, together with the District Coordinating Director, joined the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, and officials from World Vision at the signing ceremony, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening WASH services across the district.

The initiative is expected to enhance access to clean and safe water, improve sanitation facilities, and promote good hygiene practices among residents, ultimately contributing to healthier communities and sustainable development.

The Agotime-Ziope District Assembly noted that the collaboration reflects its ongoing commitment to working closely with development partners to improve the quality of life of residents while driving socio-economic growth throughout the district.
