The tour provided the DCE with an opportunity to interact with personnel, familiarise himself with their activities and gain firsthand knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of the various institutions contributing to the development of the district.

As part of the tour, Hon. Marfo visited the District Education Office, Immigration Office, National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), National Identification Authority (NIA) District Office and the District Health Directorate.

He also visited the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), National Youth Authority (NYA), District Police Headquarters and the Magistrate Court.

The familiazation tour ended at Manso Adubia Senior High School, where the DCE had the opportunity to engage with the school community and learn more about its operations and needs.

The visits are expected to enhance coordination and collaboration between the District Assembly and the various departments and agencies, while providing the DCE with a clearer understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the district.

The initiative forms part of Hon. Benjamin Marfo’s efforts to engage key stakeholders and build stronger institutional partnerships to support effective governance and development in the Amansie South District.
