JASIKAN: Cocoa growers to receive gov’t support

Government has supplied Jasikan district Cocobod with cocoa inputs, for onwards distribution to cocoa growing farmers in the area.

Disclosing this at the assembly’s first ordinary meeting, District Chief Executive for the area, Mr. Killian Kwame Abrampah said the assembly is also set to distribute some protective equipment to the farmers.

Items to be distributed, he noted include ammonia sulphate, Akate power, Akate Master, Ridolmil, sidalco defender, kocide and fungi kill.

The rest are Wellington boots, Respirator, Broad hat, Glove and goggles.
