DCE cautions BECE candidates to eschew examination malpractices

The District Chief Executive for Akrofuom District, Mohammed Mustapha Gariba, has cautioned candidates in the district to eschew any form of examination malpractice in this year's BECE Examination.

He added that there is no need for them to panic since he is sure they have studied well for these exams.

He assured that his office will ensure that they have a fruitful examination and also will ensure that those who will excel will continue to climb the education ladder successfully. He urged the invigilators not to intimidate the candidates since it could affect their performance.

In a related development, the Member of Parliament for Akrofuom constituency, Joseph Azumah has also presented mathematical sets to each of the 836 candidates taking part in the exams in the district.

The move forms part of his contribution to support the candidates as they write the examination.

The candidates looked confident and poised for action as they started the examination this morning at the various centres in the district.

Accompanying the DCE was the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Ebenezer Douglas Ntiamoah, representative from the Education Directorate, Mr. C. C. Baah and other staff of the Assembly.
