Nsawam Adoagyiri: MCE Cuts Sod for CHPS Compound, Classroom Block

Hon. Philibert Selormy Fummey, The Municipal Chief Executive for Nsawam Adoagyiri, has cut sod for the construction of two key infrastructure projects a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound at Gidikope and a six-unit classroom block at Asiyaw.

The projects are aimed at improving access to healthcare and education within the municipality.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Fummey noted that the initiatives have become necessary to address the growing needs of the people and reaffirmed his commitment to bringing development closer to communities.

He explained that the construction of the CHPS compound at Gidikope will enhance access to quality primary healthcare services for residents in the area.

According to him, the classroom block project at Asiyaw forms part of efforts to expand educational infrastructure and create a conducive learning environment for students.

Mr. Fumney expressed appreciation to John Dramani Mahama for his commitment to strengthening local governance, as well as to Rita Akosu Awatey for her guidance and support.

He reaffirmed his dedication to delivering impactful projects that will improve the living standards of residents across the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality.
