According to him, the poor condition of the road had forced both pedestrians and motorists to pass through the compound of the Islamic School as an alternative route. This situation frequently disrupted teaching and learning activities and also raised safety concerns for pupils and teachers.
The MCE explained that the reshaping of the road will now provide a proper and convenient route for road users, significantly reducing the movement of people and vehicles through the school premises.
He added that the exercise forms part of the Assembly’s broader commitment to maintaining and improving the municipality’s road network to make transportation easier and more convenient for residents.
The Municipal Chief Executive assured residents that the Assembly will continue to prioritize such interventions to enhance accessibility and support the daily activities of communities within the municipality.
