In an exclusive interview, Osabarima Adu Asare said he has struggled to bring development to the people of Akyem Maase due to the persistent chieftaincy dispute in the area.

"Let me correct you, after my installation as chief of Akyem Maase, there has not been any development due to the chieftaincy dispute, I quite remember after my installation, some whites came to establish an SOS village with school, clinic and recreational facilities but was met with a strong opposition from the other side." he sobbed.

He thus called for all hands on deck, burry their differences and make peace for the socio-economic growth of Akyem Maase and Ghana as a whole.

The Chief was a speaking at a ceremony to confer him an Osabarima tittle  by Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori-Panin last weekend.
