The ceremony was performed by Hon. Naser Toure Mahama, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East Constituency, and Hon. Abdul Ganiyu Ibrahim, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).

The MP, in his speech, emphasized the significance of the project, stating that it was part of the government's national development initiatives. He expressed gratitude to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the Local Government Minister for their contributions to the community.

The MCE also highlighted the importance of the project, saying it would give Nima a clear sign and identity, making it easily recognizable to visitors. He assured residents that the project would be completed on time and that several other development projects were underway in the area.

The event was attended by chiefs, Imams, assembly members, and other stakeholders, all of whom expressed their support for the project and appreciation for the government's efforts in developing the community.
