The project is being carried out under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Abdul Ganiyu Ibrahim, and the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Hon. Baba Jamal Ahmed.

While several sections of the road have been asphalted, a selected portion is being constructed with interlocking paving bricks. The use of interlocking bricks in the area is intended to support improved drainage, facilitate easier maintenance and provide a surface that is suitable for pedestrian movement and roadside activities.

The different construction approaches are aimed at addressing the specific needs and conditions of various sections of the area while improving the overall quality and functionality of the road network.

The ongoing works are expected to enhance accessibility, ease movement for residents and road users, and contribute to the improvement of local economic and social activities.

The development forms part of broader efforts to improve road infrastructure across Ayawaso East, with the stated objective of building better roads, improving mobility and supporting the transformation of communities within the municipality.
