The conference, held under the theme “Consecrated Life for Transformation,” brought together religious leaders and members of various congregations from across West Africa to reflect on the role of consecrated life in transforming society.

Delivering a speech on behalf of the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Eric Asibey commended the organisers and highlighted the significant contributions of religious men and women to national development, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and social services.

He noted that consecrated life continues to inspire hope, moral leadership, and selfless service, especially at a time when societies are confronted with challenges such as poverty, youth unemployment, and social inequality.

Hon. Asibey further reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with faith-based organisations to promote development, peace, and social transformation in Ghana and across Africa
