The initiative follows growing resident concerns about indiscriminate vehicle parking and the encroachment of pedestrian walkways by mechanics.

The exercise, which targets key areas including Mataheko, Kaneshie, and Laterbiokoshie, aims to address these issues and improve the overall environment for residents and commuters.

During the exercise, the MCE Mr. Nkansah emphasized the Assembly's commitment to enforcing regulations.

"We are taking a firm stance against these violations," stated Mr. Nkansah. "Individuals found culpable will face sanctions, including spot fines of at least GHS 700.

Those requiring further penalties will be processed at our office, and in some cases, we will seek court orders to address vehicle-related issues."

The decongestion exercise reflects the Assembly's commitment to creating a cleaner, safer, and more organized environment for residents of Ablekuma Central.

The Assembly has pledged to continue such efforts to ensure the long-term success of this initiative.
