Oforikrom MCE holds first official meeting; emphasizes collaboration

Mr. Ahmed Anwel Sadat, the newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Oforikrom in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, held his first official meeting with departmental and unit heads on Monday.

The meeting, held at the Municipal Assembly, served as a formal introduction and a call for collaboration towards achieving the Assembly's development goals.

During the meeting, the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr. Charles Attah Mensah, officially handed over administrative notes from the previous administration to the MCE.

The MCE expressed appreciation for the dedication and service of the MCD and departmental heads, appealing for their continued support and cooperation.

He stressed that collective effort would be crucial to achieving the objectives of his tenure.

Mr. Sadat highlighted his commitment to addressing the challenges facing the Assembly, aligning his efforts with the President's 'Resetting Agenda'.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of the Assembly's internal operations, he announced plans to visit various departments and units to familiarize himself with their functions and working environments.

Pledging full support on behalf of the staff, Mr. Attah Mensah assured the MCE of the Assembly's commitment to helping him realize his vision for the municipality. The meeting concluded on a positive note, signaling a collaborative and productive start to Mr. Sadat's administration.
