The gesture has been recognised as an important contribution towards improving access to education and providing children in the community with a better learning environment.

The provision of educational infrastructure by individuals and private businesses can help complement government efforts to address the needs of schools, particularly in communities where additional facilities are required to accommodate learners.

Hon. Paulina Akabila’s commendation highlights the importance of collaboration between government, private individuals and local communities in promoting educational development. Such partnerships can help bridge infrastructure gaps and improve opportunities for children to receive formal education closer to their homes.

The contribution by Togbeyo also serves as an example of how private citizens can support community development by investing in projects that address essential social needs.

Education remains a key driver of social and economic development, and access to suitable classroom facilities is important in creating a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

The West Akim Municipal Assembly continues to recognise the importance of improving educational infrastructure across the municipality.

The school project at Akanteng therefore represents a contribution to the community’s educational needs and underscores the value of private-sector participation in local development
