MCE Commissions Fully Furnished Kindergarten Block to Strengthen Early Childhood Education at Navro-Pungu

The Municipal Chief Executive for Kassena Nankana Hon. Faustina Abulu, has officially handed over a newly completed and fully furnished two-unit Kindergarten block with ancillary facilities to the Ghana Education Service and the people of Navro-Pungu.

The modern facility, designed to improve access to quality early childhood education, was initially presented by the contractor to the Municipal Assembly before being formally commissioned and transferred to its beneficiaries.

The project is expected to provide a safe, child-friendly, and conducive environment for teaching and learning, thereby enhancing educational outcomes for young learners in the community.

Addressing stakeholders during the handing-over ceremony, Hon. Faustina Abulu called on residents, parents, and school authorities to take collective responsibility for the upkeep of the facility. She emphasized the importance of maintaining and properly utilizing the infrastructure to ensure that it continues to serve the educational needs of both current and future generations.

Community members expressed their appreciation to the Municipal Assembly for the intervention, describing the new Kindergarten block as a major boost to education in Navro-Pungu. They noted that the project demonstrates the Assembly's commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure and improving the delivery of quality education in the municipality.
