MCE Leads Two-Day Monitoring Tour of Projects in Kwahu South

The exercise, formed part of efforts by the Assembly to monitor the progress of projects and ensure quality service delivery within the municipality.
During the tour, the team visited Koranteng, where the construction of a three-unit kindergarten block with toilet facilities has been fully completed and is ready for use. The delegation also inspected the Besease Health Facility, as well as a six-unit classroom block with an ICT laboratory at Obo Anglican School, which is nearing completion.
At Bepong, the team assessed progress on a maternity block project, which is currently about 70 percent complete.
On the second day of the tour, the inspection team visited New Jerusalem, where a three-unit classroom block has recorded significant progress. They also inspected an ongoing CHPS compound project with nurses’ quarters at Pitiku.
Speaking during the exercise, Hon. Effah Osei Bonsu David emphasized the importance of regular monitoring and supervision of projects, noting that such inspections promote transparency, accountability, value for money, and quality development outcomes.
He reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring that all projects undertaken across Kwahu South are completed to the required standards and serve the needs of the people effectively.
