Save the Judiciary Demo underway
Several opposition political parties are today registering their displeasure with the government with regards to the ongoing Chief justice's removal.

A protest match is currently ongoing involving the leadership of the opposite political parties, their members as well as interested Ghanaians calling on the President John Dramani Mahama and his government to take off its hands from the Judiciary.
Dubbed "Save the Judiciary Demo" the protested expected to present three petitions at the Supreme Court, Parliament of Ghana before finally at the seat of Government.
Though the crowd is lower than expected, the number of demonstrators is enough to drum home their grievances to achieve the necessary effect.
Since the suspension of the beleaguered Chief Justice took effect, the Minority New Patriotic Party and has been at the forefront defending her right calling on the President to reinstatement her.
Though the defenders of the CJ maintained that the President has not breached any constitutional and legal procedures, they argued that the President could have excercised his diacretionally powers differently.
They opened that the success of the CJ's removal will set wrong precedent for the country's democracy.
