Ningo-Prampram Assembly Hands Over Site for 24-Hour Economy Market Project

The District Chief Executive for Ningo-Prampram, Raphael Uriel Nartey, has officially handed over the site for the construction of the district's 24-Hour Economy Market to the contractor, marking the commencement of the much-anticipated project.

The site handover, conducted on behalf of the Ningo-Prampram District Assembly, signals a major milestone in the Assembly's efforts to promote local economic development and improve trading infrastructure within the district.

Addressing stakeholders, Mr. Nartey appealed to the Traditional Council, opinion leaders, elders, residents, market vendors, commercial and taxi drivers, as well as members of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) operating within the project area, to cooperate fully with the contractor to ensure the smooth and timely execution of the project.

He noted that the successful implementation of the 24-Hour Economy Market will create employment opportunities, stimulate local commerce, and contribute significantly to the district's economic growth.

The District Chief Executive reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to delivering development projects that improve livelihoods and enhance economic prosperity, expressing confidence that with the support of all stakeholders, the project will be completed successfully for the benefit of the people of Ningo-Prampram.
