NJSMA supports Eid-Ul-Adha celebration

This presentation was done by the Municipal Chief Executive, Ransford Owusu Boakye and the Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey ahead of the Eid-Ul-Adha festival.
Eid-Ul-Adha also known as ‘A festival of sacrifice’ is an important occasion on the Islamic calendar to commemorate the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael in obedience to Allah.
The MCE urged the Muslims to pray for peace, unity, and development in the Municipality by extending their blessing to the nation, as they celebrate the 2025 Eid-Mubarak.
He added that the Assembly is committed with the right direction towards creating good cordial relations between the diverse religious faiths and promoting peace in the Municipality.
Mr. Alhassan Awudu who received the items on behalf of the Regional Chief Imam expressed gratitude to the Assembly for their thoughtful kindness to the Muslims ahead of the Eid-Ul-Adha festival.
