The furniture is expected to be distributed to schools with the greatest need as part of efforts to address the furniture deficit and create a more conducive learning environment for pupils.

The Municipal Chief Executive said the Assembly remains committed to ensuring that every child in Tano North learns in a dignified and supportive environment. He noted that the intervention forms part of broader efforts to strengthen education infrastructure and improve the quality of teaching and learning in the municipality.

Distribution of the furniture is expected to commence soon, with priority given to schools facing the most pressing furniture shortages.

The Assembly has urged school authorities, teachers, parents and community leaders to ensure the proper use and maintenance of the furniture so that it can serve pupils for many years to come.

The Municipal Assembly also expressed appreciation to the Government of Ghana and other stakeholders for their continued support towards improving educational infrastructure and resourcing schools in Tano North.
