NJSMCE engaged inhabitants in the communities

In view of this, New Juaben South Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ransford Owusu Boakye who doubled as the Dean of all Metropolitan, Municipal, District Chief Executives (MMDCE’s) in Ghana is poised to reset his constituents under the ‘reset’ initiative of His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama through a community engagement. This engagement is prioritized on soliciting the communal challenges and fusing them in the Assembly’s Annual Action Plan for the year 2026.
The participants from the communities led by the Honorable Assembly members, opinion leaders raised challenges in their respective areas, they mentioned lack of public toilets, flood at Prince Boateng round-about, faulty traffic lights in the Municipality, removal of refuse containers and poor quality of the containers, deplorable state of CHPS compound, choked gutters, open defecation, bad state of gutters among others.
Responding to their concerns, MCE assured them of a committed effort by management to curb their challenges on time basis. He therefore urged them to support the Assembly to ensure development in the Municipality.
Technocrats from the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly led by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Edward Abazing including the Assistant Directors, also, Director from the Agric Department, Madam Tharzia Nimako Akwetey, Director from Health Service, Mrs. Eunice Abuaku, Director from Education, Mr. Mustapha Haruna Appiah, Chairman-NDC, Mr. Selassie Amuzu and other Directors and Officers from Finance, statistics, Planning, social welfare were present for the engagement.
