This initiative underscores the Assembly’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and ensuring access to quality education in rural communities.
The project in Bobrama will consist of a six-unit classroom block, while Atababo will receive a three-unit classroom block.
These facilities will not only provide much-needed classroom space but also include essential ancillary facilities designed to enhance the learning experience.
These include a staff common room, headteacher’s office, an ICT center equipped with two computers and furniture, a six-seater water closet toilet facility, and a borehole to provide potable water.
Speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony, the DCE emphasized his administration's dedication to bridging the infrastructure gap in education and empowering the youth through improved facilities.
Community leaders and residents expressed their gratitude for these projects, pledging their full support to ensure timely completion and proper maintenance.
The initiative is expected to significantly improve the quality of education in these rural communities, providing students with a more conducive and supportive learning environment.
