The projects, which were initiated under the previous administration, were left incomplete when the current DCE assumed office. The Assembly subsequently prioritised their completion to provide improved teaching and learning facilities for pupils and teachers in the communities.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremonies, Hon. Korang said completing abandoned projects was necessary to prevent public resources from going to waste and to ensure that communities benefited from development initiatives without further delays.

She emphasised that governance was a continuous process and that unfinished projects should not be allowed to deteriorate when they could still serve their intended purpose.

The DCE noted that the provision of adequate classroom infrastructure and sanitation facilities was critical to creating a conducive learning environment and improving the quality of education in the district.

She said every completed classroom and sanitation facility strengthened the foundation of education in local communities, adding that investment in school infrastructure was an investment in the future of children and the development of Fanteakwa South.

Hon. Korang was accompanied by her coordinating team, party executives, representatives from the District Education Directorate, teachers and headteachers from the beneficiary communities.

At Dome, Adjei Boateng Fred, the Apagya Hene, represented the Chief of Dome, while at Hemang, Hon. Adjabeng Kwasi Ntori, the first DCE of Fanteakwa South, represented the Chief of Hemang and led the elders of the community.
