These caution was issued by the Executive Secretary of the National Association of Ordained Christian Ministers of Ghana, Reverend Jacob Elohim Festus during their annual general meeting of the association held at Akim Oda in the Eastern Region.

According to the Executive Secretary, most self-acclaimed Ministers of God who have not acquired any ministerial knowledge from any recognized Bible Ministerial School resort to some fashion designers to order for the garment which is against the ethics of the Ordained Ministers of God association.

Rev. Festus Elohim hinted that "a person qualify to become a Reverend Minister of God after the said person had obtained a certificate from a recognized Bible School, and has been accepted by his congratulations to lead the church as a pastor regardless of ones calling and has obtained an accreditation from the association of ordained minister of Ghana.

Today most people are in our society calling themselves pastors wearing the garment with the clerical without a church, because they claim to have the gift of God after following a senior minister of God for sometimes feels he can also do the pastoral work and will approach the fashion designer to saw some garment and that is all. This behaviour is the problem facing Christianity today”, he stated.

Rev. Jacob Elohim Festus who double as the Executive Secretary to the National Association of Christians Bible School also advised the bookshops operators of the various churches not to sell out clericals and it's shirts to persons who cannot identify themselves as Ministers of God by producing their Ministerial license with any accreditation from the ordained minister of God.

"No bookshop should sell Clerical Shirt and Clericals to any person without requiring for his identity with ministerial license from accredited ministerial institutions" he cautioned.

He then revealed the ideology behind the National Association of Christian Bible schools and Association of Ordained Christian Ministers of Ghana, which is ensuring effective and genuine work of Pastors in the country revealing the association is working hard to bring all duly ordained ministers in the country and institution of Bible Schools under one umbrella in order to regulate their activities.

He further added that, the two joint associations have laid down procedures for this year 2019 to deal with fake acclaimed pastors who are using the name of Jesus Christ for bad things in the country.
