Prestea Huni-Valley Hands Over Site for 24-Hour Economy Market Project

The Municipal Chief Executive for Prestea Huni-Valley, Matthew Ayeh, together with Nana Nteboah Pra IV, has officially handed over the site for the commencement of the 24-Hour Economy Market Project to Jay Blue Company Limited.

The ceremony marks a major milestone toward the implementation of the transformative market project, which is expected to stimulate economic activities, create employment opportunities, and improve trading conditions within the municipality.

Speaking during the handing-over ceremony, Hon. Matthew Ayeh expressed confidence in the contractor’s ability to deliver quality work within the stipulated timeframe and urged the company to execute the project according to specification.

He noted that the 24-Hour Economy Market Project forms part of broader efforts to strengthen local economic development and support traders, farmers, and businesses within the municipality.

Nana Nteboah Pra IV also pledged the full support of the traditional authority toward the successful execution of the project and encouraged residents to cooperate with the contractor to ensure smooth implementation.

The project is expected to significantly improve commercial infrastructure and contribute to socio-economic growth in the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality.
